it's not totally unheard of, just depends on your market...
the food network is doing a show this week about personal chefs, something I have been trying to get off teh ground for a while now, except that the market for it is practically nonexistent in my little slice of the midwest. No one wants to pay..

my first thought when i saw this thread was "oh dear gawd no!" but then when i opened the thread, mah first thought was "what kind of sofa stuff?". you have aroused mah curiosity (among other things).

Sofa stuff like a patchwork suede comforter cover, fringed at the bottom and beaded with silver beads.
Sofa stuff like the toliet stand I made out of tree logs..
Sofa stuff like a tree root table stand topped with glass..
Sofa stuff like a antibacterial candle that smells good and cleans the air.. (I needed that in my bedroom this weekend)
Sofa stuff like a mantle.. (two hand carved men holding a wooden plank)..to stand above your fireplace...
Sofa stuff like that.
